Raymond Wang was conceived into this world on the 11th of October, 1980 in Monterey Park, CA. He is a graduate from the School of Education at The University of Texas at Austin. Currently, he is attending graduate school at the UNC’s School of Library and Information Science, also known as SILS. At the moment, he is pursuing a specialization in archives and records management, more specifically in digital media archives with a theoretical approach. He is hoping to work one day in a music archive or moving image archive.
Other interests and projects Raymond is currently involved and interested in are writing poetry, shooting photography, creating soundscapes and collaborating with other musicians with his violin. He also has volunteered his time at two of the best college radio stations in the U.S.: KVRX Austin and WXYC Chapel Hill. He was a radio DJ from Fall 2006 to Fall 2007, and served as Giveaways Director at KVRX Austin from Summer 2007 to Fall 2007. He is now a radio DJ at WXYC Chapel Hill.
